  • In the summer of 2012, designer Krishan Chaudry began to form an idea for a brand that could offer the opportunity of authentic self-expression to an emerging generation of young women. In love with music and its power to amplify love, Krishan Chaudry named this new brand RAGA, which in Sanskrit means both melody and color. The first RAGA piece was born out of an experiment with Krishan and his younger son, blending western cuts with eastern prints. What started out as a pair of crochet shorts quickly evolved into a made-in-LA collection designed for a new generation of old souls.
