MINNA creates ethically made, socially responsible goods rooted in traditional craft techniques for you and your home. They believe that contemporary design should not sacrifice social responsibility or quality and that our homes should be a reflection of how we see the world.
Employing a cottage industry approach, we partner with master weavers and artisan collectives in Mexico, Guatemala, Uruguay, and Bolivia, which helps ensure craft preservation and job creation. Working collaboratively, they create multipurpose products; their patterns, colors, and textures are meant to be mixed, matched, and layered for today’s modern home. Founded in 2013 by Sara Berks, the name MINNA comes from Sara’s maternal grandmother’s middle name
MINNA works hard to source 100% natural and sustainable materials. Their cotton and wool are colored with natural or toxin-free synthetic dyes. Each handmade piece is the result of a careful production process, and you can see and feel the difference.
