At Home with @classycasita

Meet Emily Sanchez, a.k.a. @classycasita. She’s turned her love of boho design, plants, and unique treasures into a thriving blog and online shop. We wanted a closer look inside her creatively curated San Diego home so we caught up with her and chatted about interiors and how to create a cozy space.

From found vintage to handmade ceramics, each carefully thought out piece in Emily’s home fits in with its Spanish-inspired architecture. “The thing I love most about my home is the architecture,” says Emily. “I have a beautiful arched doorway that leads to the breakfast nook, beautifully textured walls, and original hardwood floors.”

With a self-described cozy/boho design aesthetic, Emily creates a grounding sense of warmth by her choice of textiles, colors, and greenery. How does she keep things feeling so cozy? “Definitely throw blankets and rugs,” she says. “I have a few and I always alternate my favorites depending on the time of year.” Her favorite pieces come from Sunday Citizen, Our Place, and, of course, Prism.
