From L.A. to Portland with @ch.e

For those of us living in Southern California, the calendar may say fall but summer’s encore seems to last well into October. That’s why so many of us flock to the mountains, the Pacific Northwest, or the east coast in search of even the slightest chill in the air. A crisp fall day to offer a reprieve from the late summer temps. Luckily for Michelle Montes, a.k.a., @ch.e, she got just that on her recent trip up to Portland. Heading there yourself? Or just want to live vicariously through her? Keep reading to see what she wore, where she went, and what she ate. 

We flew from Los Angeles to Portland Wednesday morning and once we got there, we walked around different neighborhoods, had lunch at Cartopia (food truck heaven!) and checked into our AirBnB. Then we spent the afternoon checking out the International Rose Test Garden where more than 10,000 individual rose bushes bloom, representing over 610 different rose varieties.

Thursday was another chill day of exploring and eating good food. We had brunch at Sweedeedee, then drove to the coast to check out Cannon Beach and spend the rest of the day at the beach before heading back into town.

Friday was spent exploring Multnomah Falls, but not before stopping for a coffee at Never Coffee. We ended the day by thriting and indulging in ice cream at Cloudforest.

 On our last day there, we took things easy at our rental then spent most of the day driving to and from Mount Hood. Unfortunately we caught some of the infamous PNW rain so we couldn’t see much! We had a really delicious cheese board and dessert (the cutest ice cream cone I’ve ever had!) at Cheese and Crack.
