Style 93, otherwise known as the Vans Mary Jane, debuted around 1994 and flourished as a popular women’s silhouette that tapped into retro nostalgia and a playful interpretation of femininity. With a simple buckle and strap, Vans Style 93 took a traditional women’s Mary Jane silhouette and uniquely matched it with a chunky lug rubber outsole, making the iconic design more casual and truly Off the Wall.
